The award-winning Effective Board Member (EBM) Programmes are accredited training designed to equip aspiring and current board members with the knowledge and tools needed to excel in the boardroom. These programmes cater to both non-executive and executive directors across all sectors, as well as those new to governance.
The EBM Programmes offer a blend of practical and theoretical learning, including the use of The Board Game—a unique, interactive educational tool—and face-to-face interviews with leading governance experts. Participants gain essential skills to secure board appointments, progress to paid positions, or enhance their effectiveness in existing roles. Upon completion, participants earn a qualification in corporate governance and can apply for post-nominal letters through The Association of Corporate Governance Practitioners (ACGP).
